Furry adoptable friends will be available all over town in Grand Prairie as the Prairie Paws Adoption Center Waggin’ Wagon starts rolling in July. The air-conditioned and heated trailer will travel around Grand Prairie with 21 cats and dogs, making animal adoptions more convenient for customers. All animals on the trailer will cost $70 for adoption. Most animals will be sterilized and have their rabies vaccination. Waggin’ Wagon employees will accept cash, checks and all credit cards except American Express as payment for the adopted pets.
The Waggin’ Wagon’s colorful exterior design features psychedelic colors with photos of actual Grand Prairie shelter animals and will be easy to spot when out on location.
“The Waggin’ Wagon will make it easier for people to see the precious dogs and cats we have available at Prairie Paws,” said Danielle Tate, Prairie Paws Adoption Center Manager. “We hope it will greatly increase the number of animals that are adopted from our shelter.”
