Grand Prairie Parks & Rec is asking residents to pool their support and help Central Park win $100,000 from Coca-Cola's contest "America's Favorite Park." Contest participants can cast one vote each day, and there are ways to increase the number of times you can vote.
You can get five votes per day by checking in at your park with the Foursquare social media app. You can get 10 votes per day by logging 20 minutes of activity at the park withMapMyFitness. There also are also Double Vote Days on the calendar: Independence Day Celebration, July 4-5 and the last weekend to vote, July 13-14.
How to vote:
When you go to the link you will find a link that says “Find your Park and Get Started." Just enter: 'GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas.' Central Park - Grand Prairie will appear.
Our final goal is to be 6th in America! It will take a big effort each and every day!
