The Grand Prairie Arts Council invites you to celebrate the Holidays and the 50th Anniversary of
The Wizard Of Oz!

Like so many girls her age, little Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they travel the universe of Dorothy's imagination - in this classic family story. GPAC's production features a cast of more than 50 talented local and regional performers of all ages, including 25 munchkin children and the lovable pup Toto. The sets will thrill you, as a tornado reels across the Uptown stage taking Dorothy's house apart before your eyes; then the yellow brick road gleams before you, leading into the enchanted land of Oz.

Performances are set for December 5-6 & 12-13 at 8:00 pm; December 6-7 & 13-14 at 2:00 pm at the Uptown Theater, 120 East Main Street, Grand Prairie, 75050. Tickets are $11, $17 and $22. A $2 per ticket discount is available by phone for groups of 10 or more. Purchase tickets online at www.artsgp.org, or by calling the Uptown Theater Box Office at 972-237-8786.
