Locally and independently owned Horton’s Toy Collectibles and Vintage Toy Rescue announced today that they are partnering to open a toy store in Grand Prairie on June 11, 2016. The opening of a toystore in this central location will make these items more accessible to underserved collectors in the central and western areas of the Metroplex. "Charles (Horton) and I are collectors at heart with a passion for vintage toys and collectibles," said Bill Lawrence, owner of Vintage Toy Rescue. "This new retail location allows us to share that passion with the community. We are always buying, selling, and trading vintage toys from the '70 thru the '90s as well as newer, modern pieces.” "We will look at one article or a whole collection and enjoy visiting with folks who have found treasures in the attic, dug out dusty boxes of childhood toys, inherited a collection or made an interesting estate sale discovery.
